Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in a numerous Broadway productions, before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The following year, she recorded her first album, It's the time for Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge commercial success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise did not stop juggling her acting career from Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more dark characters as opposed to her image as a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times she's made her name for herself as the director of numerous popular television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. In 1997, after being picked for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
