Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching working and going to play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renew their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
