
Jazmine was raised and born from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mother was a former backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. Her father offered her an appointment as curator of the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She together with her family then relocated into the landmark. The year 2005 marks her Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student who is majoring in singing. Sullivan played the contralto singer for the youth choir, and she later joined the adult chorus. Sullivan was not exposed secular music at first. "I was singing for the first time solo in church, and somebody wanted me to sign up to a gospel record at age 11. But I wasn't prepared for that," she says. In the following year, McDonald's held a contest with children from large cities. I was selected to sing "Accept what God allows" during the show Showtime At the Apollo. And the crowd responded very well. Stevie Wonder sang her part to celebrate the birthday of her son at the age of 13. Sullivan was the first to sign her contract with Jive Records when she was fifteen. She recorded an entire album. But the album wasn't released. Sullivan was later dropped from the label. They had a strong working relations along with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced numerous tracks for her such as "Backstabbers" the track that was written by Timbaland.
